Ryan Mantey is a Wisconsin guy at heart — born and raised in Milwaukee, and now firmly planted in Green Bay for the past 35 years. With three decades in the manufactured housing industry under his belt, Ryan brings a rare combination of deep experience and genuine enthusiasm for people to his role at Style Crest. Ask him about his garden, his grandkids, or the Brewers, and you’ll find out quickly that he’s just as passionate outside the office as he is in it.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I’ve called Green Bay home for the last 35 years. Wisconsin is in my blood — the people, the community, the culture. And yes, the Brewers.

How long have you been in the HVAC/Manufactured Home industry?

I’ve been in the industry since 1994, so we’re talking over 30 years now. Most of that time was spent managing sales teams and systems across communities, dealerships, and manufacturing — which gave me a pretty well-rounded view of how this industry works. My role at Style Crest is a newer chapter for me, and honestly, it’s been great learning a new side of the business. I’m still growing, and that’s exactly how I like it.

What’s the best part of your job?

Helping folks with their dreams and aspirations — both customers and the people I work with. After 30-plus years in this industry, I’ve been fortunate to meet and build relationships with so many great people. Those connections are what make this work meaningful. It’s not just a job; it’s a community.

What is the most important part of your role at Style Crest?

Creating a culture of growth and purpose. I want the people around me to feel like they’re part of something — like their work matters and their development is being invested in. At the same time, I take seriously my responsibility to help the business prosper and move forward. Those two things go hand in hand. When you invest in people, the business follows.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

My faith and my family, first and foremost. I have three children and three grandchildren, and those relationships are the foundation of everything. Beyond that, I love gardening, getting outdoors, and fishing — fishing probably more than anything. And I’d be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t mention the Brewers. They’re right up there too.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I just want to make a positive difference in everyone I work with, meet, and know. That’s always been the goal. After more than 30 years in this industry, that intention hasn’t changed one bit — and I don’t expect it ever will.
