Dale Clontz, Great Lakes Distribution Center Manager
Where are you from? If not from Michigan, what made you want to come to Michigan? If you're from here, why did you stay?
I’m originally from Michigan and have chosen to stay here because of the strong ties I have to family. Being close to loved ones has always been important to me, and it’s a big part of what keeps me rooted in this community.
How long have you been in the HVAC/Manufactured Home industry?
I’ve been in the manufactured home industry for 15 years, gaining extensive experience along the way. Before that, I worked as a teacher, which helped me develop strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills that I still rely on in my role today.
What’s the best part of your job/what do you like most about your job?
The best part of my job is the variety and the daily challenges that come with it—especially within logistics. Each day brings something new to solve or improve, which keeps the work engaging and rewarding.
What is the most important part of your job/what you do at Style Crest?
The most important part of my role is ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently, particularly within logistics. Supporting the team and helping keep everything on track and plays a key role in delivering quality results.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m most passionate about spending time with my family and enjoying the game of golf. I’m also a big fan of University of Michigan athletics—Go Blue!
